Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has admitted that it will be ‘easier’ talking to Harry Kane on England duty, now that he is no longer playing for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 30-year-old left Tottenham this summer and joined Bayern Munich, with Eddie Nketiah calling his former club rival a ‘world-class’ player, as he told his press conference.
When at Arsenal, Nketiah would have always seen what Harry Kane is all about from the other side.
But now that the 24-year-old has earned his first call-up to the England senior squad, then he will get to see first-hand how Kane prepares and what he is like in training.
Regardless of what Nketiah does on the club stage, he isn’t going to dethrone the England captain from his starting spot.
But that doesn’t mean, in an ironic turn of circumstances, that Nketiah can’t take what he learns from Kane at England to Arsenal in their Premier League title push.

“It has been really good,” said Nketiah. “He is a world-class striker. I am sure I will be in his ear getting tips and learning.
“I am sure that’s another great opportunity, to come away, learn and improve yourself. See what other top strikers do and how they prepare for games. He is a great player.
On Kane no longer playing for Spurs: “It makes the conversation a little bit easier now he has made the move over. But he’s a fantastic player and I wish him all the best in his next chapter.”
Nketiah still has a few more levels to go
When Gabriel Jesus is fit and firing at Arsenal, then he does push Nketiah to the bench, which is something he will be eager to change.
Two goals from the Hale-End star’s opening four matches is a positive and healthy start.
But Jesus is now back, scoring from the bench against Manchester United and ready to take the starting spot for the clash against Everton after the international break.
