Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly ahead of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the race for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
According to French journalist Julien Laurens on ESPN, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe in the summer of 2024.

Laurens has reported that Liverpool are ahead of the rest of the clubs in England in the race for the 24-year-old France international forward.
Mbappe likes Liverpool, according to the reporter, who has added that Real Madrid will lead the race for the Frenchman next summer.
As things stand, Mbappe is out of contract at Ligue 1 champions PSG at the end of the season.
Laurens said, as transcribed by TBR: “Real Madrid are still the outstanding favourite, of course, for next summer already.
“I think Liverpool have a case to put forward, especially if he is a free agent.
“Every big club in England should go for him and he will choose where he feels is best for him.
“His mum is a big fan of Liverpool, he likes Liverpool, he likes what Liverpool have done under Jurgen Klopp.
“Maybe they have a little headstart, not over Real Madrid, but over other English clubs, City, Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Spurs.
“There’s a lot of money to pay his wages and a signing on fee, if they had the money or some sort of proposal for him, he would certainly listen.”

The forward has made two starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 so far this season.
He has scored five goals in those games.
Last season, Mbappe scored 29 goals and gave five assists in 32 Ligue 1 starts, while in 2021-22, he scored 28 goals and provided 17 assists in 34 league starts.
The forward scored seven goals and provided three assists in seven UEFA Champions League starts last season, while in 2021-22, he scored six goals and gave four assists in eight UEFA Champions League matches.
