Several users have been expressing their frustration on social media after they found out that Matchmaking Payday 3 was not working.
Gaming fans had been waiting eagerly to try their hands on the latest Matchmaking Payday 3. The game had gained popularity even before its launch, so it does not come as a surprise that all users wanted the taste of the game on the day that it launched. Unfortunately, things did not go well as the servers could not handle the load. Within minutes, Matchmaking crashed and stopped working.

On September 22, several users came forward complaining that they were not able to access Payday 3. People were quick to express their frustration as they were eager to play the new game.
This led Starbreeze Entertainment, the developer of the game, to come forward and confirm that the servers were having an issue and they were looking for a fix.
The official Twitter account of Payday confirmed the same by writing: “Heisters, sorry for having kept you waiting in the safe house. We are slowly but surely getting the services working for you all. Matchmaking services are gradually getting back online. Thank you for your patience and apologies for the wait. We salute you!”
Users express their frustration
It did not take long for frustrations to be expressed on social media as one user wrote: “Been enjoying Payday 3 but I’d be lying if I said these matchmaking issues weren’t kind of a bummer. And with the game always being online, the option to play solo basically doesn’t even exist, not working anyway.”
Another wrote: “Kind of sick how the payday 3 release day was mostly spent with awful matchmaking issues. Bugs I can forgive but the actual game not even working? That’s not forgivable for a full release.” “Day 1 has been plagued with issues. From logins not working to now a quarter of the day matchmaking has been down. Nowadays Day 1 is everything. You fail the first impression and it will turn a lot of people away. That’s what I’m seeing,” said one more.
“I think anyone playing Payday 3 should refund the game/not play at all until the matchmaking is fixed,” said another.
Possible fixes to try
There are a couple of things fans can try. The first would be the classic trick of restarting the device. In some cases, it is the simplest thing that makes everything better.
You can also try to exit the game and start all over again. At the same time, make sure your Payday 3 is updated.
