Many things are going well for Ange Postecoglou’s side this season and now they have made their statement of intent by bringing in two new players.
Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin are now officially through the doors and Spurs fans will be hoping they feature against Manchester United on Sunday at Old Trafford.
Michael Dawson is certain that Timo Werner will play a part after his loan move from RB Leipzig, as he told Sky Sports News (10/01/24 at 1:15 pm).
And given the injuries to Tottenham at the back, with Ben Davies out and uncertainty over Cristian Romero, he also suggested that Radu Dragusin could get his chance.
Sources told HITC Football that Spurs beat Bayern Munich to the signing of the highly-rated centre-back, even though they tried to hijack a deal for the player.
And now he is ready to start a new chapter in his career for the ever-improving and all-attacking Ange Postecoglou side.

“Another good game, you don’t know what Manchester United is going to turn up,” said Dawson.
“You certainly do with Spurs. It’s going to be full of attacking and full of energy. Will we see a couple of new signings to get the opportunity?
“I am sure Werner will be involved and he will play some part. Radu Dragusin, with the injury to Ben Davies.
“Will Micky van de Ven come in? You have all these questions and time will tell. But it’s one I am looking forward to.”
Tottenham favourites against Manchester United
If Spurs play at their potential, then there is no reason why they can’t beat Man United, who seem like a sleep-walking disaster.
Yes, they beat Wigan in the FA Cup recently, but they needed a late questionable penalty to make that game comfortable.
And yes, they did beat Aston Villa 3-2 in their most recent match at Old Trafford, but they were 2-0 down and it was a mistake from Unai Emery’s side that opened the door for them.
Plus, Erik ten Hag’s side showed they have no consistency at all by then losing at Nottingham Forest, so if Man United lose against Spurs, it won’t be a surprise at all.
