Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara was frustrated after seeing Brennan Johnson’s performance against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham headed to Old Trafford on Sunday with many expecting a fascinating clash against Manchester United.

Rasmus Hojlund’s early goal gave Spurs the worst possible start, only for Richarlison to continue his rich vein of form with a leveller.

Marcus Rashford had United back in front before Rodrigo Bentancur hit back quickly after half-time.

With the game finely-poised at 2-2, both sides had openings to win it but the crucial goal just didn’t arrive, leaving both sides with a point.

Jamie O’Hara questions Tottenham Hotspur winger Brennan Johnson

Tottenham were the better side after the break and will feel frustrated to have not found the winner.

The speed of Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson offered a constant threat, but the end product just wasn’t there.

Johnson was a real culprit, making dangerous runs and getting into great position without managing to find a Spurs teammate.

Time and time again, Johnson’s final ball was either overhit or tamely found the gloves of United stopper Andre Onana.

The Welshman clearly has so much talent but he is yet to find the consistent end product Tottenham need to see after spending £47.5million on him in September.

Pundit and former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara wasn’t too impressed against United, suggesting that Johnson’s final ball is ‘always poor’.

O’Hara notes that Johnson has big potential but ‘needs to be better’ with that last moment in the final third.

Johnson has time on his side; he is still only 22 and has plenty of time to get it right on a more consistent basis.

We have seen Johnson produce big assists for Richarlison in recent times, so we know that kind of ability is in his locker.

Tottenham need to see that quality shining through on a more regular basis though, with big things expected due to the big fee involved in his transfer.
