HITC sources can confirm that Juventus have engaged in talks with Manchester United over a possible deal for Jadon Sancho, but he is one of three wingers that they are actively pursuing.

Jadon Sancho made a surprise return to Manchester United’s first-team squad last month with the English winger being reinstated in Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Things looked bleak for Sancho last season when Ten Hag froze the winger out of his first-team squad but the Englishman moved to Borussia Dortmund on loan.

Despite a reconciliation of some sort, Sancho was left out of Manchester United’s squad for their 1-0 victory over Fulham and a summer move could still be in the offing for the Englishman.

Juventus keen on Sancho and two other wingers

Sancho returned to United’s squad this summer following his loan stint with Dortmund after putting aside his differences with head coach Ten Hag – although despite being back in the squad, it remains to be seen how big of a role he is being afforded.

Sancho is understood to be open to the prospect of leaving United, if the right offer came along and HITC has been told that Juve is one of the clubs he would join before the window slams shut next Friday. However, Juventus have multiple options.

HITC has already revealed that Juve are locked in talks with Fiorentina over a deal for Nico Gonzalez, who turned down interest from Newcastle as he wanted to move to Turin.

We can also confirm that talks over a deal for Porto’s Francisco Conceicao have accelerated to the point where he has been left out of their squad for their weekend clash with Rio Ave.

Porto coach VĂtor Bruno said: “Some big clubs may have interest in him, there is a possibility that he can leave.”

Fabio Vieira keen on Porto move

The talks over Conceicao have seen Porto look to find their own replacement in the shape of Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira – who has been told he can return to his former club on-loan.

Sources have told HITC that Arsenal are willing to let the Portuguese midfielder go due to the outstanding performances of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, with Arteta understood to be blown away by the pair.

Initially, Arsenal were not planning to let Vieira leave after seeing Emile Smith Rowe depart to Fulham, but Arteta now plans on integrating the academy pair into the squad.

However, we understand that Porto will only sanction Vieira’s deal if, and when, Conceicao’s deal is finalised.

HITC understands that Juve could, in theory, sign Sancho, Gonzalez and Conceicao with the Turin side planning on letting Federico Chiesa and Filip Kostic depart the club.

Juventus are still hopeful of landing Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, with talks still ongoing. It remains to be seen if they could pull off all four signings before the deadline.
