Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie Redknapp has been full of praise for an Arsenal player ahead of their clash against Aston Villa.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are hoping this season will be a big one for the Gunners as they hope to win their first Premier League title since the invincible season of 2003/04.
Arsenal kicked off their campaign with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Wolves at the Emirates Stadium with Bukayo Saka shining during the victory over the Black Country side.
Saka had an amazing goalscoring season last campaign and the Englishman will need to have another campaign like that if the Gunners are to win the title.
Jamie Redknapp praises ‘limitless’ Bukayo Saka
Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of Arsenal’s game against Aston Villa with the North London club hoping to continue their 100% start to the season, Jamie Redknapp had his say on the Englishman.
It was always going to be a tough test for Arsenal to get a victory at Villa Park with the Gunners suffering a 1-0 defeat to the Midlands club last season.
Despite his allegiances to Tottenham Hotspur, Jamie Redknapp was full of praise for Saka with the Engish winger labelled as ‘limitless’ for Arsenal.
“It’s limitless what this guy can do,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. “He’s got so much talent, he’s hard working and is such a team player. He’s the player that you need if Arsenal are to mount a title challenge and if he stays fit, they have every chance to win the title.”
Bukayo Saka vital for Arsenal
Troy Deeney labelled Saka as ‘immense’ and the Englishman will be vital if Arsenal are to have any chance of winning the league title.
Kai Havertz, Saka’s teammate, said earlier this week that there aren’t many players on the plant like the winger.
“He’s unbelievable,” said Havertz. “I think there aren’t a lot of players like him on the planet. He is still so young.
“In every action, he looks dangerous and he’s young. He can still get better. It’s very rare to see a very young player performing like this on the highest level every week. We are all very happy with him.”
