Paris Saint-Germain are reportingly expecting Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea to try to sign Kylian Mbappe.
According to The Times, Paris Saint-Germain think that Chelsea will make a bid for star forward Kylian Mbappe in the coming days.
PSG are also expecting offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Marca has claimed that Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid all are keen on Mbappe, who was described as “incredible” by former Red Devils player and BBC Sport pundit Dion Dublin on BBC Sport in December 2022.
Liverpool have also been linked with the 2018 World Cup winner with France.
The 24-year-old has reportedly decided not to extend his current contract with PSG which runs out in the summer of 2024.
Mbappe wants to leave the French giants on a free transfer at the end of next season.
PSG simply do not want this to happen.
The former UEFA Champions League finalists are now willing to sell Mbappe, according to The Times.
Chelsea could find it tough to sign Kylian Mbappe
In our opinion, Chelsea could struggle to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
Marca has reported that the France international forward wants to move to Madrid.
And, according to ESPN, Madrid have everything in place to get a deal done.
Yes, we know that Chelsea are a big club and a global brand, but Madrid are arguably the biggest football club in the world and regularly win the UEFA Champions League.
If Mbappe wants to join Madrid and Los Blancos are willing to pay the transfer fee and salary needed, then it is hard to see Chelsea sign him.
Meanwhile, Estadio Deportivo have reported that Chelsea want to sign defender Luiz Felipe from Real Betis in the summer transfer window.
