Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are now being linked with Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, who Manchester City sold in 2020.
Football Transfers have reported that Liverpool are looking at former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have Juventus winger Federico Chiesa as well on their radar as a player who could eventually take the place of Salah in the team.
The Egypt international forward is under contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2025.
Liverpool linked with former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane
Football Transfers have noted that City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season, sold Sane to Bayern for an initial transfer fee of €45 million (£38.48 million).
Liverpool reportedly want to bring the Germany international winger back to the Premier League from his current club Bayern Munich.
The £281,000-a-week (SalarySport) 27-year-old is under contract at Bundesliga champions Bayern until the summer of 2025.
We believe that Sane would be a very good signing for Liverpool next summer.
The Germany international is 27 now and is at the top of his game.
We know how good the Bayern star was during his time in England.
Under City manager Pep Guardiola, Sane grew and developed as a player.
The winger made 90 appearances in the Premier League.
Sane scored 25 goals and gave 28 assists in those matches.
The winger would be able to make an immediate impact at Liverpool, and his best years are ahead of him.
However, it remains to be seen if Bayern would be willing to sell Sane next summer.
