Steve Nicol has praised Dominik Szoboszlai for the impact he has made at Liverpool and for Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool fans were over the moon when they activated the release clause in Dominik Szoboszlai’s contract in the summer because he was a player they very much needed.
And after ten games, Anfield legend Steve Nicol is loving the ‘silky smooth’ nature to his game by adding that he has been ‘absolutely world-class’, as he told ESPN.
Usually, that is a tag associated with Mohamed Salah, who has scored or assisted in every Premier League game this season.
That’s expected because the Egypt star has set the bar pretty high and is Liverpool’s main guy, for a reason.
But for Dominik Szoboszlai to write his name in lights like that, after just recently joining, is a credit to the all-action midfielder.

“I have said it previously, not just in this game, but since the start of the season, he has been silky smooth,” said Nicol.
“Always seems to make the right decision – he is even scoring goals from 30 yards, so far, this guy, no question, he has been absolutely world-class.”

Szoboszlai is what Liverpool needed
This is just the start for the 23-year-old because there is still a lot to come which will be the most exciting part for Liverpool fans.
Before a ball was kicked this season, he was exactly what Klopp needed in the middle of the park after they lost that spark, fight, energy, bite, consistency and life last season.
But Szoboszlai has brought that in bucket loads as he is, alongside Salah, now one of the first names on the teamsheet.
The only negative Liverpool fans will throw at this Szoboszlai situation is why those at the top didn’t sign him last summer.
After a late call, Arthur Melo was brought in on a loan deal when, in truth, it was a Szoboszlai that they needed and, in the end, it cost them Champions League football.

Bella Ramsey delivers a show-stealing performance in season 2 of BBC prison drama Time.
The young actor has appeared in some huge shows including Game of Thrones and The Last of Us.
At just 20 years old and with a pending Emmy nomination, Bella Ramsey stands out as an actor to watch in the years ahead.
Despite appearing alongside far more experienced actors, Bella Ramsey steals the show in season 2 of the BBC prison drama Time where they take on the role of inmate Kelsey Morgan which has prompted fans to seek out some of the rising star’s other must-watch shows.
Bella Ramsey stomped their way into the acting industry in season 6 of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones where they played the fierce Lyanna Mormont, an imposing figure despite the character being just a child.
Ramsey was just 11 years old when they filmed their first scenes but instantly became a fan favourite and reprised the role several times throughout the final three seasons.
In complete contrast to the gruesome nature of Game of Thrones came one of Bella Ramsey’s first starring roles in the CBBC kids’ series The Worst Witch.
Ramsey featured regularly as the character Mildred Hubble in the first three seasons, earning a BAFTA in 2019 for Best Young Performer, before only appearing in a guest role in the fourth and final instalment as their acting career truly began to take off.
Bella Ramsey showed off their incredible range by taking on a voice role in the Netflix animated show Hilda where they play the titular character, an adventurous 11-year-old who loves to explore.
In 2019, the series earned a BAFTA for Children’s Animation and an Emmy for Outstanding Main Title and Graphic Design for an Animated Program.
Hilda is set to end with its upcoming third season on December 7, 2023.
Following their fantasy foray in Game of Thrones, Bella Ramsey returned to the genre with the BBC and HBO series His Dark Materials.
The actor appeared in six episodes of the show’s second season as Angelica, who served as an antagonist towards the main characters, one of the rare occasions where Bella Ramsey has had to flex her villainous acting muscles.
And finally, we come to the role that Bella Ramsey will arguably be best known for among TV fans as she took on the role of Ellie in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us.
Bella Ramsey proved themselves to be one of the best up-and-coming stars in the acting industry as they starred alongside Pedro Pascal, delivering a performance worthy of a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou blocked Bryan Gil from leaving the club on loan before the summer transfer deadline.
Bryan Gil may have a role to play at Tottenham Hotspur after Ange Postecoglou blocked him from leaving.
That is according to Spanish newspaper AS, who claim that Postecoglou would not sanction his departure.
Postecoglou has seriously improved a number of Tottenham players in his short time at the club.
The Australian seems to have the magic touch at the moment and Gil may be hoping that he can join the club…
Ange Postecoglou blocked Bryan Gil exit
Gil spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla having failed to make any kind of impact in a Spurs shirt.
Tottenham pounced to sign Gil in 2021, sending Erik Lamela to Sevilla as part of the deal.
Gil had impressed in Spain but has appeared too lightweight for Premier League action.
Postecoglou seemingly sees something in Gil though as Spanish newspaper AS claim that Postecoglou blocked a summer loan exit.
It’s stated that Postecoglou ‘did not give the green light’ to a departure and instead kept the winger in North London.
A loan wasn’t in the plans but The Telegraph suggested in August that Tottenham were offering Gil to Nottingham Forest as part of a deal for Brennan Johnson.
That didn’t happen and Gil may now be able to feature alongside Johnson in Postecoglou’s Spurs side…

Gossip Girl scenes that will make you double-take
Gossip Girl, based on Cecily-von-Ziegesar’s best-selling book series of the same name, follows the exploits of privileged young people from Manhattan’s wealthy Upper East Side as they get up to all sorts of drama together.
At the heart of the action are best friends Serena van der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), along with their crazy gang of young, wild, and free teens – including Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, and Dan Humphrey.
In the show, a mysterious blogger captures the filthy rich lives of teens at a prestigious school – but the exciting plotline isn’t all that has fans talking.
Another viral TikTok shows four scenes in which Dan Humphew was surprised by Gossip Girl blasts.
This confuses viewers since the ending of the show reveals his character to have been the mysterious blogger all along, therefore meaning he is shocked by the posts he had supposedly written himself.
In the comment section, @K pointed out that the scenes make no sense; “and he was alone during the blast so why was he reacting?”
A fan of the show pointed out that Gossip Girl’s identity was sneakily revealed in the first episode as Dan Humphrey is supposedly shown as the blogger.
Gossip Girl mistakes that somehow made the final cut
In terms of mistakes shown in the TV show, die-hard fans can spot any slip-ups straight away.
Back in 2020, a TikTok user pointed out that Serena mistakenly told another character, her old school friend Damien Dalgaard, to “text her” his number:
Another popular mistake involves Blair Waldforf’s handbag. By watching closely, fans noticed that the position of her bag quickly switched between takes in the same scene.
Aside from the mistakes, the TV show features some popular scenes that make fans think twice about the rest of the season.
In the first series of Gossip Girl, Serena Van-Der-Woodsen is shown advising Jenny Humphrey to wear a black-colored dress to her first event appearance after moving to New York City.
A TikTok creator shared a video suggesting that Jenny’s character then proceeded to wear the color black with every outfit after this.
@finny commented that Jenny took the advice and ran with it for the rest of the series: “She took it and ran.”
Another user named @anastasia wrote that Jenny Humphrey sure did take the outfit suggestion personally: “Blondie took that personally.”
Another Gossip Girl fan shared their shock after watching a series four episode whereby Chuck Bass bumps into his ex-girlfriend.
Bass is shown saying goodbye to his new girlfriend Eva only a few minutes before bumping into his first love Blair Waldorf while strolling through a random street in Paris.
In a heartbreaking scene with Blair and Chuck, a comment by @Livie Rose pointed out that Blair uses past tense whereas Chuck Bass was suggesting he still has feelings in the present: “When she says loved but he says love.”
A fan named @Kelly Grace expressed their obsession for the couple in their comment: “Blair and Chuck are my Roman Empire.”

Roy Keane says he is ‘worried’ that Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are falling behind the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Forget about the all-dominant Manchester City, it’s the north London duo, alongside the ‘recovered’ Liverpool and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle who Roy Keane is looking at from Manchester United’s perspective, as he told Sky Sports (29/10/23 at 12:10 pm).
On Sunday, Pep Guardiola watched his team ease to a 3-0 win against their neighbours at Old Trafford to pile more misery on Erik ten Hag and his players.
It means that the eighth-placed club are already a staggering 11 points behind surprise leaders Tottenham, nine behind another unbeaten team in Arsenal and eight points behind the Champions League places.
After winning the League Cup and securing a top-four finish last season, the team seems to be, once again, stagnating under yet another manager.
And what’s even more alarming about Roy Keane’s comments from Old Trafford yesterday is that they came before his former side were beaten by Manchester City.
Manchester United falling behind
“It looks like they are surviving every game,” said Keane. “It’s a battle for every result – in previous years, we have been comparing how far Manchester United are behind Manchester City.
“But my worry, at this moment in time, if whatever about Manchester City, it’s all the other teams who seem to have gone past them, at this present moment in time.
“Whether you look at Spurs. Liverpool have recovered. Look where Newcastle are going. Arsenal have got stronger and Manchester United are certainly slipping behind the pack.

Tottenham and Arsenal leading the charge
What a battle the Premier League has on its hands at the top of the table, with Spurs and Arsenal leading the charge during the early months of the campaign.
Given that Arsenal were leading at the top for so long last season, many expected them to come again, it’s only a case of whether they can cross the line this time around.
But not even Spurs fans expected their team to be in such a position, especially after losing Harry Kane.
There is still a long way to go and Tottenham’s squad depth, or lack of it, will be tested in these coming months, but, as of this moment, they deserve to be sitting loud and proud at the top.

Matthew Perry rose to fame at the young age of 25, when he starred as the iconic Chandler Bing in the first series of Friends. Little did the cast know, their lives would never be the same again as it became one of the most loved, and watched, shows around the globe.

Matthew Perry‘s first appearance as Chandler Bing came in the 1994 pilot episode, which aired on 22 September 1994, as the young star.
The star could be seen with some of the other cast mates, including Matt LeBanc, before meeting Monica’s ‘new roommate’ Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston.
In his first ever scene, the star can be seen sitting on the edge of the Central Perk coach, where they end up sitting for 10 years, unbeknownst to them in the pilot episode.
Six years after the launch of the show, the cast of Friends were seen attending the 26th People’s Choice Awards, where they picked up the award for Favorite TV Comedy.

Son admitted that seeing Bentancur but makes him smile, but it was also an emotional moment after seeing him go through such a difficult journey.
Son added that Bentancur is an ‘unbelievable player’ for Ange Postecoglou to call upon moving forward.
“It makes me smile. What an unbelievable player to have in our squad. He’s like a new signing,” said Son. “We couldn’t wait to have him back and when he came on, I was getting emotional because he’s a good friend of mine.”
“I enjoy every single moment with him, even last season when I was suffering with injury, he was always pushing me. I’m just really grateful he came back healthy, hopefully he’ll now stay fit, and he will be a massive boost for the team. I’m very happy to have him back,” he added.

The line, which sums up the character comes after Monica compliments her ex on his moustache, to which Chandler says to his new girlfriend: “And you don’t have a moustache.
So, this one is more about the context than the quote. In arguably one of the most iconic episodes ever, The One with the Cop, Ross Ross decides to move his new couch to his apartment by himself, to save himself on the delivery fee.
In the epic scene, when trying to take the heavy coach off the stairs, in a line that will never remove itself from our brain, Ross can be heard screaming: “Pivot. Pivot! Pivot! Pi-vot. Pi-vot. Pi-vot!”
To which Chandler screams: “Shut up. Shut up! Shut UP!” Honestly, Chandler Bing was a mood.

Of course, we know a girl would never come between Joey and Chandler, but Kathy, and Janine, played by Elle McPherson came pretty close.
This iconic Chandler Bing quote comes from when Janine reveals to Joey that she’s not too keen on his besties, Chandler and Monica, saying Chandler is too “blah.”
That relationship obviously didn’t last too long, and of course, Monica gave Janine a piece of her mind.

The One With the Vows. Our fave thought he’d never get married, and now here he is writing his vows for the love of his life.

In the most emotional time ever, Chandler still manages to crack a joke. Chandler and Matthew Perry had one of the last quotes in the Friends series, jokingly asking where they should go for coffee, as they move out the iconic apartment, after spending 10 years glued to the sofa of Central Perk.
Even in times of misery, Chandler Bing never failed to make people smile. RIP Matthew Perry.
So far, Van de Ven has looked like value for money and has formed a solid partnership with Cristian Romero.
Pundit Carragher has now moved to praise Van de Ven having been blown away with his performance against Palace.
Speaking on Sky Sports (27/10, 94th min), Carragher suggested that Van de Ven had been simply ‘brilliant’ and ‘absolutely outstanding’ against Palace.
Carragher added that James Maddison pipped him to the man of the match award, but feels that Van de Ven is a ‘brilliant signing’ given his size, physicality and speed.
“He has been brilliant, Van de Ven, he’s been absolutely outstanding,” said Carragher. “Unfortunately for him, someone has just pipped him for the man of the match award because he was heavily involved in both goals but he looks like a brilliant signing. He’s coped with the physicality in the Premier League, his pace, the actual size of him,” he added.

Liverpool missed out on Micky van de Ven
Carragher’s praise comes amid fresh claims that Liverpool missed out on Van de Ven.
The Independent’s Miguel Delaney claims that Liverpool were ‘very interested’ in signing Van de Ven but couldn’t promise him a regular starting role.
Tottenham did provide that guarantee and Van de Ven chose North London, snubbing Liverpool’s interest.
A move to Anfield did seem to add up given that Reds sporting director Jorg Schmadtke signed Van de Ven for Wolfsburg.
Liverpool don’t have a natural left-footed centre back either and a move for Van de Ven would have made sense.
The timing seemingly wasn’t right for Liverpool and Carragher may be cursing how things worked out – all whilst Tottenham will be delighted.
